Description
I've been longing for home.
The only place I felt I really knew.
Nothing feels right without you.
Lately I've been a little blue.
What are we going to do?
We can't go on like this.
Too much longing,
no sense of belonging.
Empty love.
Nothing but actions.
No spark.
No chemical reaction.
I can still smell your skin.
Slowly waking from my dreams,
how many years has it been?
More than it seems.
Time slips by so quickly,
yet the feelings never changed.
Funny how time makes perspective so strange.
Will we ever return to the paradise we knew,
or are we doomed to endless blue.
Consequence to action,
but who suffers most?
Forever haunted, to love I toast.

So beautifully done and filled with emotion! Your poem brought tears to my eyes. What a sensitive person you must be and your artwork portrays your soul.
Ally White replied:
Wow, Michael. Your comment made my day. It truly means a lot. Thank you so much.

Nicely done with multiple treatments for a pleasing symbolic and thought inviting work, well done;)
